Illustrating and editing images are one of my favorite things in the process of designing. There are some of my projects that show that. And I'm going to post two of them up.
This one below(*1) is a single page website I designed for a fashion event that is held every year. Unfortunately, I had to go with different idea but I love this one more. The concept was "the Red Carpet-like." I have used my photoshop's image editing skill to create a gorgeous look, but by adding illustration I made it easier for users to approach to the website. I enjoyed so much while creating and adjusting the light reflection on the objects like floor, curtains and a chandelier.

The below(*2) is the background of a web site idea I have designed for a jewelry shop. To make a Belgium-born ring really shine, I have layered multiple layers, using mask, filter and other photoshop functions. I've edited the image until it looked almost exactly the way I have imagined in my mind. As a consequence, I had very little time and energy left to design other elements for the site like link menu. I have learned not over do one thing.

デザインをする過程で、写真加工やイラストを描いているとき幸せな気分になる。多分、本当に好きなんだと思う。そんな自分を垣間見ることができる作品をいくつかここに載せてみる。
まずは、３年前から毎年開かれているファッションイベントの2011年度用のサイトのために作成したデザイン(*1)から。残念ながら別の案でプロジェクトを進めたので、このデザインはボツ案になってしまったけれども、実はこっちのほうが断然気に入っている。コンセプトは「レッドカーペットのような」。PHOTSHOPのすばらしい画像加工機能を拝借してゴージャスに仕上げながらも、イラストを交えることで近寄りがたさを無くした。イラストを作成したり、光の具合やゴールドの光沢具合などを試行錯誤している間が楽しくて仕方がなかった。
次は、とあるジュエリーショップのサイトのデザイン案を出したときに用意した背景(*2)。ベルギー生まれの「輝く」リングを表すため、レイヤーにレイヤーを重ね、レイヤーマスクやあれやこれやを使い、最大限にリングを輝かせた。自分が頭に思い描いたイメージに一番近くなるまで編集した。そのため、他のデザイン要素が疎かになってしまった。それでは、デザイナーとして失格なので程々にしないといけないなと反省。
