My Best Friend's Wedding | 親友の結婚式

2012年も終わり。自分の誕生日、そしてクリスマスがくると毎年実感する年末。今年の私の誕生日は121212で、次の12の年は100年後。一生に一度のすごいゴロ合わせの誕生日となりました。
2012年後半のハイライトは何と言っても大親友、Erikkaの結婚式！そのためにアメリカに行ってきました！Erikkaの結婚式は、Bride's Madeとして参加したので、あまり写真を撮る事が出来なかったのがとても残念。式の後のパーティーはカメラ片手、ビデオ片手に終止記録することに・・・。
写真では伝えられないセレモニーの方は、雨という予報にも関わらず、タカコ予報は晴れ！と言い切り、私の予定通り晴れ。Erikkaらしいシンプル且つ感動的な式でした。
このアメリカ旅行は、事前に少しだけ計画を立てたので、久しぶりの再開がもりだくさん。とは言えども、何年も会ってないという感じが全くせず、ただ、それでも彼女らから聞く近状はすごく新鮮でいい刺激に。人生はやはり、人と触れ合う事で成長した事を確かめたり、インスピレーションを受けたりするもの。次にみんなに会えるのはいつになるか分からないけれど、今回久しぶりに会えた人たちが自分にとってかけがえのない人たちなんだなという事を実感。
My birthday and Christmas always reminds me the year is almost over. My birthday this year was pretty special the number wise. It was December 12, 2012... 12.12.12, it only happens once every 100 years. How cool is that?
Anyhow, my highlight of the second half of 2012 was my best friend, Erikka's wedding. I have traveled to America to be in her wedding as her bride's made. It was the definitely an important and honorable experience I've had in my life.
The trip to America this time was really great. Not only that I got to be in my best friend's wedding, I could also see good friends of mine for the first time in many years. Seeing them was like I just saw them yesterday, however it was also really fresh to hear what they have been up to for the past a few years.
This trip made me sure that good friends will always be my good friends even though we don't see each other as often as we wish. Talking to them was a good inspiration for life, and also is a chance to realize how much I have grown mentally in the past a few years. I'll definitely go back to the U.S. to see them again in the future!
